What a Wednesday (Long Post)

Did you ever have a morning when everything just went right for once? This morning, I woke up a 5:45, rested...I haven't been sleeping well the last couple of nights. Ken had already gotten Brody up, fed him, and changed him. He was in a fantastic mood! ( I always hate to leave him when he wakes up like that!) I took him to daycare, and actually made it to work ON TIME! I had such a great day with my 3rd graders in summer school. I decided to skip getting Brody at 12:00 and go home to work out. I got the whole workout done, for once, and left to get Brody. He came home and took a 2 hour nap. This is new favorite way to sleep. He looked so comfy, I decided to take a nap myself. I actually got in a good hour and a half. I woke up to find my husband...home...BEFORE DARK! The day just kept getting better and better. We decided after a long look in our pantry, and finding nothing in it, we needed to make a Walmart run. I was a little hesitant because Brody was due to eat in about 30 minutes...and whoever can get through Walmart in that amount of time deserves an award. Just walking from the parking lot takes that long! So...packed Brody up, prayed for a miracle and wiped his face with a paper towel. OH MY GOSH! Its his new favorite toy. That paper towel entertained him for the 90 minutes we were gone. And to think I'm spending tons of money of Baby Einstein toys. Who'd a Thunk it?While we were at Walmart, we decided to go ahead and buy some baby food for Brody. Brody wore his new bib made by Holly at Hollypops! It turned out so cute!

We started him out on sweet potatoes...interesting...

This is how Brody looked after his first bite.

After a few more tries, he really starting eating it up! Sweet Potatoes, SUCCESS!Brody was good and full, and actually let us eat dinner before he wanted his bottle. I'm liking this baby food thing. We ate a quick dinner and gave piglet here a bath...always a fun treat. After his bath, he took a 6 ounce bottle...which in momma world means...9 hours of uninterrupted sleep! Yessss!!

This my most favorite time of the day. After a bottle, a bath...he smells of pure sweetness! I am so blessed to be his mother. This is actually how he was laying. He was trying to hard to turn and watch the TV. He is definitely his daddy's son!

He fell asleep at 7:45. Such a great day! Hope the rest of the week goes as well!
