Small Steps with HUGE Success!

I'm such a proud momma tonight! After getting such a good report from Brody's PT, I was really anxious to work with him tonight. We've been working on him holding our hands and basically lifting him up to show him how to move his feet. Slowly, this weekend, he started picking up his feet on his own.

And tonight he walked behind a push toy. ALL BY HIMSELF!!!! Ken just kept the toy from going to far and gave him time to let his feet catch up. I'm so proud of him. He's much more comfortable than he used to be putting weight on his feet. My mom found him some tennis shoes that actually fit his small feet (size 2) and they are hard sole high tops. PT said they would be perfect in helping with his confidence on his feet.

I just can't stop smiling. Baby boy is going to get it....In his own time...But he's gonna get it!!!!

On another note, yesterday I went to a Shrimp 'n Grits Party last night and saw the cutest two summer outfits!!! Wouldn't Brody look so cute in these....

The first one is golf themed which would be perfect in a picture with his daddy on the golf course. The second one is just too cute with the monkeys!
Ugh! Too bad bills just have to be paid!!!!

And last but not least.....

Okay, who watched The Bachelor last night...the epic three hour finale. I had heard what might happened and still couldn't believe he actually did that to Melissa. I loved her dress at the proposal.

I know it is probably the silliest show on TV but I'm a sucker for reality tv. I just can't help it!
We'll have to turn in and see what happens tonight. I can't imagine anything more could possibly happen!
